Here is an abbreviated list of the lighthearted view as to why you may want to practice your vocal talents before belting out your next tune.
1. Your dog attacked you before the karaoke party
You get out of the shower singing, “I’m Every Woman”, and there he is, growling and demanding silence and food.

2. The past few weeks karaoke night has become abusive
After last week’s karaoke night, you didn’t think you’d be invited back. Your last song tanked. You’re voice cracked a couple dozen times, and there is definitely a difference between screeching and hitting a high C.

They went up to the front of the room. They started giggling like children. They couldn’t decide what song to pick. Kept giggling. Kept goofing off. Kept having a good time while you waited for your turn. How can you show them up if they keep on having a good time?
5. You finally get it
They had fun! When you sang you forgot to take it seriously and it was a blast. The reason to sing shouldn’t be because you have to, but because you want to.
